For those next generation gamers with last generation television sets, the
standard AV connection cable that comes packed in with the Xbox isn't going
to work. The device allows the Xbox to be hooked up to a cable ready television
that doesn't have the (now standard) audio/video inputs.

The cables are sturdy, lengthy, and have stood up to a bit of abuse. After
being yanked around, there was no degradation in the signal from the Xbox
to the television set.

While this isn't the optimal way to connect the Xbox to your television, many
gamers won't have a choice in the matter. Instead of spending several hundred
dollars on a new television, these $9.99 cables are a great buy, especially
at half the price of others onthe market.
